Hi,

Looks great. Can you please provide with some more specification about it. What linux does it support / run with.

Is it possible to have embedded flash drive on it (like the 1 GB on the embedded controller v1).

What is the price for the unit ?

When will the product be available to buy from Your shop ?

Looking forward for a reply

Is this running the RT3050 (not RL3050 as spec says)? Ff so no wifi or ethernet support on OpenWRT. DD-WRT does support the RT3050 and has the drivers, so there is some hope.

RAlink's LINUX has drivers for 2.6.24 - but those that have tried to port have commented the API has changed too much for an easy manual patch job.

Any more specs so we can take a look?

Yes, there is an internal pinheader available so it's straightforward to mount an internal flash drive directly on to the PCBA.

The unit price will be 32.75ea inclusive of VAT, plastic case and power adapter. That's 1.37 more that the Standard Embedded Controller.

Samples are available now but the product is not yet listed on the on-line store. For samples please send a request for a quote to info@omnima.co.uk.

Well spotted, it's RT3050. We've corrected the typo.

A full SDK is available after signing a NDA agreement. Combining the code from DD-WRT and from the SDK it should be possible to get OpenWRT up to the speed.

More information coming soon.

Are there any operating systems that will work on the embedded controller now ?? Maybe some of the major linux distributions (debian, slackware etc)

Now that the s/w side of the product is solved, any news on this product and availability?

Cheers
