The new CNT technology built into the newer versions of IP Power devices may by default start transmitting multiple CNT identification packets to the LAN. There may be several thousands of packets being transmitted every second. This may in turn result in other connectivity on the network being considerably slower, including browsing, IP telephony, dns name resolution, etc.

You can resolve this issue by disabling the CNT service on your IP device. To do this, open the IP Power web server from your browser and go to Advanced-> IP Server & CNT, then disable the CNT service. You can optionally also disable the IP Service, if this option is not used.
